The power of subconscious messages to influence your mind is enormous. With the amount your subconscious mind absorbs in the course of your day is growing. Negative messages are 6x stronger then positive messages. It’s important to understand the quality of the streams you subscribe to, as they will undoubtedly impact and manifest your current reality.
I cut news feeds and anything I felt would give me a sense of apprehension or anxiety. Anything I found triggering from my any form of my social media and I Instead I replaced it with positive streams. affirmations, motivational, positive outlooks to feed my subconscious mind positive messages. Overall the general feeling of well being increased and my perspective changed greatly. I felt lighter and more relaxed and not where near a state of apprehension. Reflecting back on it I see the way in which my social media had a direct impact on my feelings and emotions.
Regulate & Filter Subconscious Messages
I got to thinking. If the media plays such a pivotal role and impact on how we feel and our thoughts. Then it’s high time to start ensuring that what I ingest in terms of media only comes in the forms that will allow me to prosper and experience love, joy, and happiness. As such I now accept only the best forms of media and since I no longer have the concern, worries, or doubts that come with crippling fear or anxiety.
Much in the same way helping to regulate a central nervous system allows a person to switch for an experience of turmoil or conflict and one of peace and tranquility. Being more consciously aware of the media we allow our subconscious mind to ingest and subject ourselves to gives us more control. Considerably more over our thought processes and ways of perceiving the universe.

Self-awareness & Triggers in Subconscious Messages
I didn’t however want to completely eliminate anything that causes a triggering effect. As that is where if we are self-ware we can best isolate what causes that behavior so we might better understand ourselves and begin to defuse the emotion involved in the trigger.
Healing such trauma responses in the subconscious mind and defusing such emotional triggers in this way. Really is something that greatly enables a person to reduce the amount of aggressive, emotional, verbal, or physical ques. Especially those one’s that might associate with media or external stimulus such as an encounter with someone of opposing beliefs or principles.
It is important to note and understand that these triggers will continue to exist even after the wounds themselves have been healed. Healing doesn’t mean the triggers don’t exist. It just means that your responses to the triggers are no longer coming from an emotional place or a place of hurt. Even if they still do to some degree it wont be so overwhelming a feeling that engulfs you and sweeps you away in emotions that you later regret.
Effects & Perception from Subconscious Messages
Consider the amount of negative messages your subconscious mind receives in form of Social Media Click Bait. Even any other variation is meant to have that emotional effect on the human psyche. The vast majority of major news outlets and news sources on social media frequently engage in using headlines. Some are not even part of the article itself just to elicit a click itself.
The effects of memes is another example of just how quickly one can become Upset, Angry, Disgusted, Disgruntled and the like simply because they don’t perceive the message in the same way, or they have a trigger or an eversion to the content. The emotional response will drive all of the behavior that follows as a direct result. You can expect angry words or heated emotions as a direct result.
It’s the way in which these messages engage with us on a daily basis that continue to drive our behaviors and if you haven’t already you may want to begin filtering the content on your streams. See what kind of reaction or emotion it elicits after having ignored the mainstream media on social media for even a month as a test.
You will see a vastly improved change in the way your emotions are far more regulated because they have no been over stimulated or bombarded by negative messages, or messages designed to elicit an emotional reaction. Consider it the detoxify your media challenges, if you practice healthy living then why not a healthy social media diet?
